Why a game
Something to do before opening weekend, not just something to watch
Your audience already plays on Roblox, Fortnite and Minecraft, and studios now market films there. We plan the game and the release campaign together, so the activation, the trailer drop and the paid media all point at the same date.
Proof
Fear: The Game
Built by AONE Creative for On Chain Innovations with Hidden Empire Film Group, for web, iOS and Android, to build the audience for Fear months before its 2023 theatrical release. Live for six months, March to September 2022, it moved nearly its whole audience to the film’s site. Every player watched the film’s trailer before gameplay began.
- 87,000Approx. players sent to the film’s site
- 250,000+Approx. visits to the film’s site
- 108,653Downloads
- 90,000Approx. players
About 97% of everyone who played visited the film’s site; more than 8 in 10 downloads became players. We also ran social and influencer campaigns for Screen Gems and Lionsgate titles.

Game design, brand integration, and each platform’s brand and disclosure rules. - 03
Build and test.
Production in Roblox Studio, UEFN or Minecraft tools, with playtests before launch. - 04
Launch campaign.
Influencers, social, paid media and creator partners timed to the release. - 05
Live ops and reporting.
Updates and events while it runs, then a report on visits, play time and engagement.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does a branded Roblox game cost?
Pricing is set project by project. It depends on the platform, the size of the game, art and animation, live operations after launch, and the release campaign around it. We scope your build on a short call and quote from there.
How long does a Roblox experience or Fortnite island take to build?
Timelines are set project by project, based on scope and your release date. Tell us the date and we plan the build and launch back from it.
Can a game be part of a film release campaign?
Yes. We plan the game and the release marketing together, so both point at opening weekend.
Do you handle Roblox advertising too?
We build the experience and plan the media that drives players to it, including Roblox’s own ad products where they fit.
