The political marketing agency behind Be Woke.Vote
We build the content and channels that reach voters where they spend their time, then move them to act. For Be Woke.Vote that meant four celebrity video series, more than 150 million impressions and a Webby Award.

Be Woke.Vote
A get-out-the-vote platform, produced like a network
Darrick Angelone cofounded Be Woke.Vote in 2018 with philanthropist Robert F. Smith, director Deon Taylor and producer Roxanne Avent. The aim: reach young voters of color, Gen Z and Millennials, with conversations worth watching, and give them the facts to act.
AONE Creative led the creative direction and ran the digital side: the website and its voter tools, the social channels and distribution. The platform grew into four video series, a national tour and an apparel line, and launched Black History in Two Minutes (or so).
