The series
A paint shop with a network audience
Paint Misbehavin’ followed Steve Flanagan and his team of painters through custom projects for clients, from a police car of the future to a fireproof paint put to the test in open flame.
The series came out of AONE’s and Darrick’s stake in HARD Lifestyle. Darrick was part of the story development, then joined the cast as the partner who watched the money.

What it taught us
Television, from the inside
Developing a story a network will buy, working with cameras in the room and building toward a premiere date. That inside view of how a series is made and launched still shapes the release campaigns and series we market.
